A high level emergency message was declared by the U. S. Embassy in Quito requesting Americans to not travel near Tungurahua, which means "Throat of Fire" and is located approx 80 miles in southeast of capital Quito.
The message has clearly signaled the dangers over the tourist town of Banos along with all those areas, where they believe, the voluntary evacuations are under way like in Cusua, Juive Grander and Chico. Travelers are being suggested to be ready with an evacuation plan if experts notice the conditions becoming more dangerous.
"Past eruptions have affected air travel in Ecuador. U. S. citizens planning to fly to, from, or within Ecuador should monitor news outlets and have a plan in the event of flight cancellations".
A series of explosions has been recorded from the volcano overnight and so has Ecuador's Secretary of Risk Management raised the alert level to orange i. e. the second-highest level on Monday.
